When staying at Cholsey Grange CL we do most of our walking direct from the site. Usually if we drive somewhere for a walk it is to a spot besides the River Thames. I have walked a few sections of the Thames Path and today I plan to do a few miles between Marlow and Bourne End.

Cotswold Water Park
Caravanning in the UK in winter is not something I would have conceived doing a few years ago. Even when we set off on our tour in 2014 we thought we might head into Europe and find a warm spot in Spain for a couple of months to over winter. Usually, come the end of October we are hibernating at home until spring.

A Circular Route From Mill End to Marlow
Today we have planned a pleasant circular walk from Mill End. From the public car park on the outskirts of the village of Mill End we walk besides the road into the village. At the junction with the A4155 we turn left and pass Millend Farm before taking a footpath on the right leading to Hambledon Place.
The footpath turns to the right heading towards the River Thames after a couple of hundred yards we meet the river and turn right following alongside the riverbank. This is pleasant, flat, walking, enjoying occasional glimpses of the river.
